Brief
“Breakfast on Pluto” is a poem my friend Tina Shan shared with me. As to express my appreciation for this beautiful literal piece, I turned it into a passion project and finished it in summer 2019.
Each page uses words and manipulated found images as graphical elements to visualize the poetic expressions. The layerings of mixed paper materials help carry the deep and intense feelings that reading the poem brings into a physical form.
The zine is at pocket-size of 4.25’’ by 6’’, which makes it a more intimate reading experience and easy to share with more friends.
